The idea
Romania, at the pace it deserves
Most visitors see Romania in a week from a coach window: a castle, a citadel, a long drive back to Bucharest. These journeys go the other way. Fewer places, longer stays, and time with the people and villages I have come to know over more than twenty years.
Transylvania’s Saxon villages, the monasteries of the north, the Danube where it meets the sea. Slowly.
Comfort is not optional. The finest rooms available, private drivers, good food, and days with room in them.
Each journey is organized with a licensed tour operator, who handles the bookings and the logistics so that I can do the part I am good at, which is showing you the place.
Dates, itinerary and price will go first to those who register.
